Cape Buffalo are one of the most dangerous of the African 'Big Five" for big game hunters. If the first shot doesn't kill this powerful animal, it will hide in the bush and wait to see what danger awaits it. Their horns are sharp and deadly, forming an armor plate across the top of the head. When the hunter attempts to find the buffalo and finish him off he is at great risk himself.
