The original watercolor was done for first for a past client from one of her favorite slides. I liked it so much that I painted one for myself. I was intrigued by the beautiful red corn and the contrast with the weathered barn door. The rusty hinge and weathered wood introduces a nostalgic feeling to the composition. The original watercolor is in the artists' collection.
