Soft blue green necklace with oriental pendant

Jade and Aventurine sooth the soul and calm the mind.

 This necklace almost designed itself.  The pendant is dainty and delicately made so the string also had to be a delicate combination.  The jade was hard to match so I tried several designs with silver before putting the pendant away.  Recently a friend sent me a string of aventurine from the Las Vegas gem show, and the moment I saw the beads, I went prowling through all the drawers looking for the pendant.  It was a match, and the rest was just a matter of adding interest.    

Components: 1” Pale Jade Pendant set in Sterling, Pale blue greene aventurine beads, corrigated sterling beads, fresh water pearl accents, sterling beads & fittings
