This pendant has a tropical sizzle set off by a black background that can be worn with a surprising number of colors.

The unusually shaped pendant caught my eye.  It suggested a Caribbean island with a palm tree and golden sands.  I had to have it and almost regretted it.  The bold criss-cross bail was bothersome, but with the help of some ornamental filler beads, it decided to behave and permit me to build the necklace. By accident, I found some lamp work beads that worked well with it.  Silver beads were a given, and the smooth onyx ovals gave some balance to the pendant's black background.  You can dress this  up or down, and the liquid silver chain will fit smoothly under your shirt collar.
