How long does it take to paint a painting?
User Rating: / 0
PoorBest

People frequently ask how long it takes to do one painting. No matter what painting it is, I always reply 55 years, because that is the amount of experience that went into painting any of the paintings I create. The actual time devoted to each painting varies considerably. A smaller work doesn't necessarily translate to less time to produce. Some subjects present different technique challenges than others. Also, In the case of the African animals and landscapes, it required traveling half way around the world just to collect the images.

If you are ordering a painting on commission, we will advise you of the schedule for production after receipt of your complete information.  See the FAQ regarding Painting on Commission.
