Great Falls on The Potomac River: Limited Edition Giclée Print of Watercolor Painting on Heavy Acid Free Art Paper

This scene in this Limited edition Giclée print shows a small rivulet off to the side of the main falls above Washington, D.C. on the Potomac River, hence the name "Great Falls". George Washington surveyed the path of the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal which allowed barge traffic to navigate around the falls. There are still quiet footpaths there along which the mules would pull the barges that plied the canal. This print was made from an original watercolor.

This painting is in the collection of the artist and is available only as a Giclée print.
