This framed original acrylic painting of Oryx Antelopes, called Gemsbok (Hemsbok) by the South Africans, live in the harshest environment in the world, the Great Namib Desert of Namibia. There is neither much vegetation nor water. Their markings are distinctive with black mask-like markings on the head and face and a sandy beige body with white trim. Their horns are straight and saber-like and can be quite dangerous. This item is also available as an original Acrylic painting or a fine limited edition Giclée print.
