 Brick Victorian Home
Full Size Image Brick Victorian House, Champaign, Illinois: Limited Edition Giclée print of Watercolor Painting
This limited edition Giclée print of a watercolor of this beautiful brick Victorian house was the home of the Champaign County Historical Museum when this painting was created in 1972. It is located on University Avenue just west of downtown Champaign, Illinois. The house was built by the Wilber family in 1906 from a design more reminescent of the 1800s. I saw it on a foggy day and liked the ghostly feeling of it.The Museum has since moved to a building called The Cattle Bank just east of the downtown on University Avenue, and sold the house as a family home.
The original is in the private collection of the artist.
