Dicroic pendant with a Rainbow of Shells

This dichroic pendant reminds me of diving among the coral on the reef wall at Cozumel.

I love the way the artist bound the dichroic piece in sterling but left one able to see through it to the color behind it.  The beauty of dichroic glass is that it is constantly changing and reflecting life around it.  This can be worn with nearly anything, and I wanted the rest of the necklace to uphold that quality.  Thus I chose primarily fire luster crystal beads and accented them with myoki beads that reinforced colors in the pendant.  Even the sterling ovals seem to suggest sea life.

Components: 1.5 inch Dichroic Pendant Set in Sterling, Crystal Beads, Myoki Bead Accents, Sterling Accents & Fittings, and a Sterling Hook Clasp.
